Hello, this is Tim Drake. I work as a procurement officer for the Haven Hospital. I've heard that you have a proposal for more medical equipment and was wondering if we could talk?
I'd like that very much. My hours are still somewhat irregular at the Northside Hospital in the Up, but I can come down to Haven or meet anywhere in the middle.
The letter arrives with a box of tea perhaps a week or two after their last communication.

Upon further reflection I was reminded of one bit of advice I received years ago.
In striving to be a good Dominant it is important to understand yourself. Many of the best Dominants I ever knew regularly explored their Submissive self. This allowed them the freedom to look deep within and it also gave them a better understanding of where their Dominance could take a Submissive and how to fulfill that Submissives needs.

I've time and I did take such an oath. One with Starfleet Medical, and another when I began to work at the hospital here.
At some point during the week whenever Julian comes in to work at the hospital in the Up, there's a package left for him. It's a small bag with a card. The card is hand made - nice thick cardstock with an inkwash painting of a starry night sky on the front. While it's specifically the night sky over London, it's the night sky over London in the early 2010's so it's probably not the one Bashir knows exactly. Inside is the neat cursive of Gerard's handwriting.

All of Nate’s gifts are delivered via a fluttering origami bird, which flies directly to the recipient and puts the gift into their hands. Once it’s given, the bird will unfold into a note, which explains what the charm inside will do, and how to activate it. When the note has been read, it will explode into a miniature display of multi-coloured fireworks, which spell out “Yuletide wishes from Nate!” and then vanish.
