"I've never tried it, nor do I currently have the equipment, but I'm happy to put it on there." He's glad Crais is coming to him with this, because that can be dangerous when done haphazardly. "And, presumably, put it in there, too."
"You can try, but I think you'll have trouble doing that if I've got a bit of metal in your cock and I'm holding onto it." He doesn't doubt that it's possible, but threats are a love language.
"I know the value of talking. I'm used to doing all sorts of unusual things, often dangerous things, and getting people through it whole, hale, and healthy." Some of the skills transfer over. Not all, but some. "And thank you."
He'd been talking about the puns, but he could growl and pretend and enjoy the interplay just fine.
It's even easier when he gets to avoid talking about what he'd meant about being a better dominant than many here. Bashir hit some of it but- there was more and he could use a bit of diversion from potential intimacy
"He did, yes. We went and had a talk about what is or isn't what he wants in a Dominant and how I went about it with the Doctor, and with others I've chosen not to contract with." Bashir lets his eyes close, just a bit, not because he's tired but because he's comfortable with Crais. It's good to just relax.
"I keep talking to people who are looking for a Dominant. Advising them on contracts and it seems, well, I like to think I'm doing well and doing right by the Doctor." But 'why me?' is unsaid. "I give the best advice I can, but this really isn't my field."
"Yes, yes, I can talk about health and best practices and all that relates to, but when it comes to building a positive relationship?" Bashir huffs out a laugh, shaking his head, and does not bite Crais (although he considers it).
"I would like you to stop and objectively assess your relationships with people you met since your arrival here, and tell me what about them - any of them - is not positive."
Julian is quiet for a time. He's thinking about what Crais has said, reviewing all the people he knows here, and how he gets along with them. Mostly, it's positive. There's been the spat with Jadzia, but that's it.
"I will not." He twists around and quickly, affectionately, and chastely, kisses Bashir on the corner of his mouth. "You're perfectly good at this and the best person I could think of to send Hartley to. If he'd wanted more specifics, I would have sent him to Cyram, but he's terrible at people."
Any doubt that he appreciates that -- well, there isn't any for him and he knows that not so much as twitching at use of his first name is the indicator. He makes a low noise and flops back to be comfortably (and a touch, though temporarily possessively) sprawled against Bashir.

He lifts Bashir's hand and nips the heel of it. "Sounding."

Julian.
No.

"I will kill you." That is not a serious threat, but also Julian, no.
He had been thisclose to a serious moment, but that terrible joke-
actually made it easier.
"You're one of the better dominants in Duplicity, you realize."

His standards might be too low.

Even Jon, who is prickly, is still a friend.
"Hush."
